# How to Connect to Server via RDP (Remote Desktop) Guide
After completing the purchase of your server and its successful activation, you can access it directly using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). This guide explains step-by-step how to connect to the server and start using it from any device.

## 🔑 Required Credentials:
Make sure to keep the server details page open to get:
1. **Server IP Address** (Available in the server details page)
2. **Default Username** (Available in the server details page)
3. **Password** (Available in the server details page)

## 💻 1. Connecting from Windows OS
Windows has a built-in Remote Desktop application.
### Steps:
1. Click the **Start** button or search for **"Remote Desktop Connection"** in the search bar.

2. Open the application, and type the **IP Address** of your server in the **Computer** field.

3. Click **Connect**. A **Windows Security** window will appear asking for credentials:
- In the **Username** field: Type **`WinSparrow`**
- In the **Password** field: Type the temporary password.
- You can check **"Remember me"** to save credentials.

4. Click **OK**.
5. A warning message regarding the security certificate will appear. Select **"Don't ask me again for connections to this computer"** and click **Yes** to continue.

6. The server desktop will open immediately.

## 🍎 2. Connecting from macOS (Apple)
Mac devices need to download the official free application from Microsoft.
### Steps:
1. Go to the Apple App Store and download the **"Windows App"** (formerly *Microsoft Remote Desktop*).

2. Open the app and click the **+** or **Add PC** button.
3. In the **PC Name** field, enter your server's **IP Address**.
4. In the **User Account** field, choose **Add User Account** and enter:
- **Username:** `WinSparrow`
- **Password:** Your password (available in the server details page).

6. Double-click the saved server card to connect immediately.

You can monitor and control your server directly from your phone wherever you are.

### 🤖 Connecting from Android:
**Step 1: Open the App and Add Server**
1. Open the app, and you will find the main **PCs** screen.
2. Click the **+** button in the top right.
3. From the list, choose **"Add PC"**.

**Step 2: Enter Server Info**
4. In the **PC NAME** field, type the IP followed by the port: `IP_ADDRESS:3389`
Example: `178.104.175.134:3389`
5. Click the **USER ACCOUNT** field to open the dropdown.

**Step 3: Add Credentials**
6. From the menu, choose **"Add user account"**.

7. Enter in the **Add User Account** window:
- **USERNAME:** `WinSparrow`
- **PASSWORD:** Your password.
8. Click **SAVE**.

**Step 4: Save Connection and Log In**
9. You will return to the **Add PC** screen and find the user account selected — click **SAVE** in the top right.

10. The server will appear as a card in the **PCs** list — click on it to connect.

### 🍎 Connecting from iPhone / iPad (iOS):
**Step 1: Download and Open the App**
1. Download **"Windows App Mobile"** from the App Store.

**Step 2: Add New Connection**
When you open the app for the first time, you will see a welcome screen — click **"PC connection"** directly.

Or if you are in the **Devices** screen: click **+** at the top → choose **"PC Connection"** → click **Ok**.

**Step 3: Enter Server Info**
3. In the **PC NAME** field, type the IP followed by the port: `IP_ADDRESS:3389`
Example: `178.104.175.134:3389`
4. Click the **USER ACCOUNT** field to open the menu.

- **PASSWORD:** Your password.
7. Click **SAVE**.

**Step 4: Connect to Server**
8. The server will appear as a card in the **Devices → PC Connections** list — click it to connect.

9. A **"Certificate can't be verified"** message will appear — this is completely normal. Click **"CONNECT"** to proceed.

## 🛠️ Quick Solutions for Connection Problems:
* **Error "Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer":**
* Make sure the server status is **ACTIVE** in the control panel.
* If the server is provisioning, please wait for the estimated 17 minutes to complete.
* **Error "Your credentials did not work":**
* Make sure you write the password accurately without extra spaces.
* Make sure the username is written exactly as it appears in the server control panel: **`WinSparrow`** (or `Administrator`).
